蔡萌

美术学博士，中央美术学院美术馆学术部副主任，副研究员，策展人。曾供职于中国艺术研究院和广东美术馆。其硕士和博士论文均以1976年以来的中国当代摄影为研究方向，从美术史研究的视角与方法出发，探讨中国当代摄影发展演变的内部逻辑及其对应的艺术思潮与外部文化问题。曾策划“第三届广州国际摄影双年展”（2009）、“景观·静观”（2009）、“原作100”（2011）、“CAFAM未来展”（2012、2015）、“北京国际摄影双年展”（2013、2015、2018）、“罗杰·拜伦：荒诞剧场”（2016）、“桃李桦烛”（2017）、“行望山河”（2019）、“古元画展”（2019）等多个展览。并曾举办“银灰的冥想：蔡萌个展”（2015）.

Cai Meng

Cai Meng (PhD) is the assistant director of CAFA Art Museum’s Curatorial Department.Before joining the CAFAM, he worked at the Chinese National Academy of Arts and the Guangdong Museum of Art. His MFA and BFA theses both focus on contemporary Chinese photography after 1976; they explore the internal logic of the evolution of photography in contemporary China and the corresponding artistic trends and outside cultures based on the methods and perspectives of art history research. Cai was involved in the planning of various exhibitions such as the 3rd Guangzhou Photo Biennial（2009）, “Spectacle and Gaze”（2009）, “100 Vintage Prints”（2011）, “CAFAM Future”（2012、2015）, the Beijing Photo Biennial（2013、2015、2018）, “Roger Ballen: Theatre of the Absurd”（2016），Prometheus in Printmaking（2017），Where the River Bends(2019) and Gu Yuan Painting Exhibition（2019）.
